Which song do you remember first, when you think of Charlie Daniels? Correct: “The Devil Went Dow to Georgia” – One song or one title can define the whole work of one musician. If that really justice the artist is another question and real Charlie Daniel fans would probably come up with way more titles, but still with the “Devil in Georgia”, including the Daniels solo with his fiddle, is the final song at each Charlie Daniels concert since 1972.
With 75 years Charlie Daniels gives still concert on a regular base and releases albums. Also in 2010 there will be a new album of the former Souther Rocker, which is titled “The Land That I Love”. The living legend (there is already a Charlie Daniels museum in Nashville, Tennessee and a park has been named after the country singer) remembers again about the good times of the United States. In The last 30 years Charlie Daniels collected 15 song to put on this album. What started with Southern Rock is now a mix of Bluegrass, Country, Rock and Gospel.
