Sarah & The Romans pour la première fois en live en Allemagne

Sarah & The Romans montent sur scène au Festival Danetzare à Erfurt.

En novembre 2017, Sarah & The Romans a sorti son premier album « First Date », salué par la critique dans toute l’Europe. CountryMusicNews.de a ainsi résumé par exemple : « Sincère, passionné, classique. « First Date » de Sarah & The Romans livre un bluegrass classique et de la musique country de haut rang, tout en trouvant son propre son. À écouter absolument !

Les critiques positives qu’a recueilli l’album « First Date » ont également attiré l’attention des organisateurs et c’est ainsi que Sarah & The Romans monteront sur scène lors du Festival international de folklore Danetzare à Erfurt. Ce sera l’occasion pour le groupe croate de poursuivre une collaboration engagée l’année dernière avec les Cripple Creek Cloggers des États-Unis.

La formation de danse Cripple Creek Cloggers existe depuis plus de 50 ans déjà et vient de Murfreesboro près de Nashville, dans l’État du Tennessee. Les artistes présentent une danse appelée danse carrée des Appalaches avec les pas en step typiques, le clogging. Ce style de danse est né dans les Appalaches avec les premiers colons venus d’Angleterre, qui ont apporté avec eux les chansons, les danses et les récits de leur patrie.

Le Festival Danetzare se déroulera du 28 juin 2018 au 2 juillet 2018 à Erfurt, capitale du Land de Thuringe. Sarah & The Romans monteront sur scène tous les jours du festival!

Sarah & the Romans sort son premier album sur AGR Television Records

Sarah & the Romans have signed a record deal with AGR Television Records.

In Croatia Sarah & the Romans one of the hottest country bands. Their unique mix between Polka, Waltz, Marching, Mazurka with Bluegrass and Country Music brought them to the attention of music lover across Croatia. Now they wanna spread their wings and bring their music across Europe and they chose AGR Television Records to make it happen.

« Sarah & the Romans » was formed in 2014. The band has nine members which includes: two female vocals, guitar, fiddle, banjo, contrabass, mandolin, blues-harp and drum. Sarah & The Romans, preformed on concerts and festivals around Croatia and Slovenia.

The first single, « Smoke in the Wind », was released in 2015 and was chosen in June 2016 by the Akademia Music Awards as Bluegrass song of the month.

Sarah & the Romans recorded also « Una Sola Volta Ci Si Ama » together with 92 years old Bruno Petrali which gained nationwide attention. There’s more collaboration to come in the future.

The songs of Sarah & the Romans were included in the top lists of local radio stations and recognized at numerous European and US radio stations. Also, TV stations such as MTV Adria, RTL (Croatia), and HRT, paid attention to the band.

Their debut album of Sarah & the Romans is titled « First Date » and will be available on CD, as digital download, and as stream on 27 October 2017. The album will include the previous released singles « Smoke in the Wind », « Sometimes », and « Tanac ».
