LenneBrothers Band playing live at Michael and Stephan Koch anniversary concert.
Germany’s rock ‘n’ roll and rockabilly outfit LenneBrothers Band slated to perform live at the Werkhof Kulturzentrum on February 17, 2024.
40 years of rockabilly and rock ‘n’ roll are now going out into the world from the Lennestrand in Sauerland. It’s hard to believe, but Michael “Ele” Koch and Stefan “Teddy” Koch from the LenneBrothers Band will be celebrating their 40th anniversary on stage in 2024. On February 25, 1984, the two brothers played their first gig with their former band The Lennerockers. The concert for the carnival celebration of the Hohenlimburg Riding and Driving Club took place in the restaurant of the Kirchenberg Stadium.
Almost exactly 40 years later, the anniversary concert with the LenneBrothers Band, which has been in existence since 2017, will take place at Werkhof Hohenlimburg on 17 February 2024 (Kulturzentrum Werkhof, Herrenstraße 17, 58119 Hagen-Hohenlimburg). Between these two concerts, the founding members of both the Lennerockers and the LenneBrothers Band, Michael and Stefan Koch, have played an impressive 3,000 gigs in 25 countries and even set a world record (see Guinness World Records 2003, p.258, “Highest concert” – in an airplane at a height of 11948.16 m in front of 250 fans).
They captivate their audience with a mix of rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly and a touch of country music. Whether you tap your feet, clap and sing along or conquer the dance floor, it’s hardly possible to resist moving to the rousing beats of the LenneBrothers Band.
Besides selected classics, the LenneBrothers Band is also presenting an exquisite selection of their own songs – first and foremost the hit “High Class Lady”, which has been covered by many bands all over Europe, or “Boogie Woogie Queen”, which already has more than 10 million collective views on YouTube. Other evergreens always included are “Rockin’ and Truckin'”, “Choo Choo Billy Train” and of course “Picking Berrys”. All the songs can be found on their Live-Album “Rocking Live Around the Fire Station”
If you are looking to experience an unforgettable concert, you should definitely take in a performance by the LenneBrothers Band – time of your life guaranteed.
